A Florida resident for over 30 years, Sandra has always had a deep appreciation for the state’s wildlife and a strong love for animals. Her experience volunteering with local shelters strengthened her commitment to animal welfare and led her to become actively involved in TNVR in 2019. Since then, Sandra has been dedicated to caring for community cat colonies—providing consistent support, building trust, and helping improve their health and safety. Her work reflects a lifelong passion for compassionate, hands-on animal advocacy.
Originally from Montreal and raised in Massachusetts, I’ve called Florida home since 1972. While I’ve spent my career as a hairstylist for 42 years, my true calling outside of work is rescuing and rehabilitating animals. Since 2014, I’ve been dedicated to helping over 400 homeless animals find their forever homes. Through my nonprofit, I strive to give these furry friends the love and care they deserve. Thank you for joining me on this journey to make a difference in their lives!
